The Monteverdi – landscape of sounds project starts in Cremona its way towards publishing.

On the 29th of september in the beautiful setting of the Museo della civiltà contadina in Cremona, during the day devoted to the lute the CEO of B4Baroque Emiliano Marinucci presented his multimedia project on Claudio Monteverdi.

During a full day presented by the Major of the city Garimberti and featuring foremost and important lute players as Massimo Lonardi, Roberto Cascio and Roberto Gallina and researchers as Roberto Codazzi, Rodobaldo Tibaldi and Francesco Saggio, Marinucci staged a full painting of this work.

In a perfect setting, evoking the work inside the photographic volume, featuring the dawns, fogs and dark scars of the countryside of the pianura padana.

Marinucci starts here, during his Cremonese experience, birthplace of the composer and of the violin, telling the story of how the landscape shaped the sound, the  ideas decided to melt inside a shape, a form. That, trough poetry and art, evoking the haunting names of Tasso, Guarini and Marino plus Caravaggio, Reni and Campi design the horizon of Monteverdi.
